About us

My name is Suzanne Grady and I am the owner of Donelson Critter Sitters. We opened in 2009, but have many more years of experience with animal love and care. I am Red Cross Pet CPR and First Aid trained, so you can be confident that leaving your pet in my care is the right thing to do.

I have worked as a volunteer with the Nashville Humane Association for several years. I also have worked around Davidson County with Teddys Wagon (a mobile pet adoption center) to help find dogs find permanent homes. In 2012 I started an annual pet food drive for the pets of the people that live in Tent City. I collected hundreds of pounds of food, treats, and toys for cats and dogs alike. Hopefully every year will be even better. Striving to help animals has always been high on my priorities.

Like many others, I have a dog, Squiggy, who is scared to death of cages. It is so stressful for him that it just tears me up to board him. Pet sitting is the only option I have when I need to be away. I have been taking care of friends pets for a while now, when it finally occurred to me that other people might be looking for someone to take care of their animals too. So Donelson Critter Sitters was created to meet the needs in the Donelson area.
